A Modern Take on a Western Classic

This book cover redesign was created in 2024 as a school project for Typography 2. The assignment challenged us to reimagine a book cover using only type. I chose Riders of the Purple Sage and developed a bold, layered composition that captures the drama and movement of the story through typography alone.

Telling a Story Through Type

The goal was to capture the spirit of the American West using only typographic elements. Strong diagonals, overlapping text, and a rich color palette help communicate the mood and action of the novel.
