About

My name is Britney DeJesus, and I am a graphic design graduate driven by a love for creativity, color, and thoughtful visual composition. I enjoy transforming ideas into designs that communicate clearly, tell a story, and create a connection. My work centers on branding and social media design, and I'm always exploring new techniques and approaches to bring originality and purpose to every project.

BridgePal was my senior project, created as a student mentorship concept designed to help transfer students adjust to a new school socially, academically, and emotionally. The project focused on building meaningful connections between students and mentors while creating a stronger sense of belonging and community. I developed the app concept, brand identity, logo, visual system, user personas, marketing materials, and a complete project book that documents the development of the brand from concept to final execution. You can view the full book using the link below.

This small freelance project was created for a client who wanted to promote an upcoming event. I developed a series of marketing posts designed to build awareness and generate interest around their new pie event. For the campaign, I also introduced a refreshed visual direction to make the promotional materials feel more engaging, polished, and consistent with the event’s theme. The final designs helped create a stronger and more recognizable look across the client’s marketing content.

This freelance project focused on rebranding a client's blog and newsletter website. As part of the redesign, I created a custom logo that better reflected the brand's identity, tone, and overall visual direction. The goal was to develop a cohesive look that would feel professional, recognizable, and consistent across the website. The final logo was designed to complement the site's layout and strengthen the overall branding. You can view the live website below to see how the new logo and branding work together throughout the site.

Beneath and Beyond was a volunteer project where I helped develop a complete brand kit for the organization. My work focused on creating a cohesive visual identity that reflected its mission of mentorship, advocacy, opportunity, and support for underserved students. The brand kit included logo usage, color variations, typography, brand colors, sizing guidelines, and supporting visual elements to help maintain a consistent and professional brand across different platforms. You can explore the full brand kit below to see how the visual identity was developed and applied throughout the organization.
